2 Falcons players named to Pro Bowl roster

FLOWERY BRANCH — Falcons running back Bijan Robinson and right guard Chris Lindstrom were named to the NFC Pro Bowl team Tuesday.
It’s the second consecutive selection for Robinson and the fourth consecutive for Lindstrom.
“He’s one of the easiest people to be around,” Falcons coach Raheem Morris said of Robinson. “He’s one of the best people we know for both on the field and off the field.”
Robinson became the third player in franchise history to amass more than 2,000 scrimmages yards in a season. He has a chance to break the record that was set in 1983 by William Andrews.
Over 15 games, Robinson has rushed for 1,250 yards and has 776 yard receiving for 2,026. He joined Jamal Anderson (2,165 scrimmage yards in 1998) and Andrews (2,036 in 1981, along with 2,176 in 1983) in the Falcons’ 2,000-scrimmage yards club.
Over the final two games he needs 151 yards to surpass Andrews record.
“I don’t even know how close he is to the record,” Morris said. “That’s not something he talks to me about. That’s not something we really talk about. He just talks about finding ways to help his team get wins.”
After going for 171 yards and a receiving touchdown against the Cardinals, Robinson discussed he pursuit of the franchise record.
“That would be awesome,” Robinson said. “Doing it for God and accomplishing something like that for Him and then for the team — making this a team accomplishment."
Robinson was selected by the Falcons with the eight overall pick in the 2023 draft. He has been one of the bright spots in a losing season.
“Obviously, ‘B’ is special,” Morris said. “He’s special to all of us in multiple different ways, including on and off the field. And some of us, even in our personal life. I just think he’s an amazing human being to be around.”
Lindstrom is the first Falcons offensive lineman to earn four consecutive selections since Bill Fralic in 1986-89.
Lindstrom quiet public demeanor, but in the games and behind closed doors he’s pretty intense.
“You’d be shocked, man. Pregame, he is one of the guys that you look at and lean on,” Morris said. “It’s a little more just effort, face. Sometimes I look at his face and I’m about to run the other way because he has some real intent about what he’s about to go do.”
Robinson’s back-to-back selections are the first since Devonta Freeman in 2015-16.
Tight end Kyle Pitts was named a second alternate, and cornerback A.J. Terrell Jr. is a fourth alternate.
The 2026 Pro Bowl Games will move to the week of the Super Bowl. The televised event will air from San Francisco’s Moscone Center South Building on Feb. 3.
