Republican Senate candidate Herschel Walker started out his day at local landmark Marietta Diner, where he made his way from table-to-table greeting customers who were dining on bacon and eggs.

He also spent several minutes answering questions from members of the media that are trailing him, a rare occurrence in the final days of the runoff campaign.

Walker said he has no concerns about how he conducted the campaign, even as he continued to decline to address recent controversies like allegations of domestic abuse and that he continues to accept tax breaks reserved for residents of Texas.

“I don’t regret anything,” he said, before pivoting to criticism of his opponent, U.S. Sen. Raphael Warnock. Walker also said he feels confident that at the end of the day he will be declared the winner over the Democratic incumbent.

“Herschel Walker is going to be your senator, and things are going to change,” he said.
