It’s one epic award and this Columbus restaurant just received it.

Epic Restaurant was one of 11 others to receive a Distinguished Restaurant of North America (DiRōNA) Award this year.

“We are thrilled to have added such an exceptional group of new restaurants to our awarded list,” said Scott Breard, DiRōNA chairman

Epic Restaurant joins the list of only 686 total restaurants to ever receive this award, which is one of the most prestigious awards for fine dining.

Here’s a little more about the restaurant:

Epic Restaurant is located in Uptown Columbus, right next to the Chattahoochee River. Inside the restaurant is beautiful custom art by local artist Teil Duncan.

“Epic is about my family. Food should be both emotional and comforting. Epic tells my story, my love of food and people; it is a journey of life experiences and triumphs. My life is Epic,” said chef, Jamie Keating.

The restaurant has 4.5/5 stars on Tripadvisor and Yelp, many reviewers raving about the food, atmosphere and service.

The menu is even uniquely written like a book; it has a Preface (appetizers), Chapter 1 (starter), Chapter 2 (main) and Index (dessert). There are even footnotes at the end, which describes gratuity.

It’s all a part of the experience. The epic experience, that is.

Experience it for yourself and see if it lives up to the name.
