Good news for registered users of ajc.com and accessatlanta.com. Our technical team has launched a repair to our login system in response to the annoying experience many of you were having.
Your login to ajc.com or accessatlanta.com should now allow you to stay logged in for up to two weeks, unless you log out by clicking the Sign out link at the top of the page or by clearing the cookies on your browser.
This has been a concern for readers who comment on blogs and articles. A bug in our system meant that some readers were being asked to log in every time they visited, and sometimes you were asked to log in multiple times during a visit.
We are continuing to test and monitor this. If you have comments or questions about the login process, please send us an email.
Additional issues in our blogs
Regular users of our blogs have offered helpful feedback on additional improvements. These include moving the comment box closer to the location of the most recent comment. Readers also have asked for the ability to show the most recent comments first and to be able to show more than 20 comments at a time. These suggestions and others are on our radar. We are taking a look to see what changes are practical to make in the near future. If you have questions or feedback on these issues, please send us an email.
Thank you for reading.
