This weekend marks the one-year anniversary of President Donald Trump's inauguration ceremony. Last January, hundreds of thousands of people also flocked the streets for the 653 women's marches across the country, and they are doing it again in 2018.

Many activists throughout the United States, including in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York and Washington D.C., are gathering again to continue the momentum of 2017’s rallies. This year’s festivities will be dedicated to tackling social issues, getting people to the polls and on the ballot.

In Downtown L.A., celebrities, such as Scarlett Johansson, Laverne Cox, Sophia Bush and Alfre Woodard are expected to attend, while the Las Vegas event, which will be attended by Georgia congressman John Lewis, will serve as a national voter registration and mobilization tour on Sunday.

And in The Peach City, where 63,000 marched last year, speakers will cover a wide range of social justice issues and include actress Alyssa Milano; Stacey Abrams, a Democratic candidate for governor; and Stephe Koontz, a member of the Doraville City Council and Georgia’s only elected transgender woman currently in office.
