4:20 p.m. ET: The American woman killed in a stabbing attack in London has been identified as Darlene Horton. She was 64.
Horton was the wife of a Florida State University professor, according to CNN. Richard Wagner is a professor of psychology teaching a summer session in London.
7:36 a.m. ET: The woman killed Wednesday in a mass stabbing in London was an American, The Associated Press reported Thursday.
The five people who were injured in the attack were American, British, Australian and Israeli, police said.
According to law enforcement, the suspect is "Norwegian of Somali origin," the AP reports.
"So far, we have found no evidence of radicalization or anything that would suggest the man in our custody was motivated by terrorism," Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley said.

City police responded late Wednesday to reports of a man attacking people with a knife in Russell Square. The 19-year-old suspect was arrested shortly after police arrived, and a Taser was discharged by one of the officers.
According to The Associated Press, six victims were injured, and one of them – a woman – later died. The condition of the others was not immediately known.
The mass stabbing comes just as the city unveiled new security measures: London police deployed an additional 600 armed officers Wednesday with a focus on counterterrorism.
Police are still investigating the attack and say terrorism is one possible motive being explored.
