According to reports, a group of masked men thought they made the perfect getaway...and ended up getting struck by lightning as they sped away!
Video captured from another driver shows the car speeding down the road last Tuesday, leading police on a high speed chase after robbing a church in St. Petersburg, Russia.
The pursuit was cut short however, when a bolt of lightning destroyed the car and killed all the passengers inside. According to police reports another car was also damaged after hitting the ruined getaway vehicle.
