Children’s hospital in Florida offers free video chat with pediatricians for families affected by Irma

Sept 9, 2017

Patients who are in the hospital during Hurricane Irma need extra care during the storm. That’s why one children’s facility is offering free access to pedestrians for families.

Nemours Children's Health System is allowing families that need to get in touch with their loved one's caregiver to chat with doctors through CareConnect using a smartphone, tablet or computer.

The normal charge for the service will be waived for families in Florida that use the coupon code “Irma” when logging in.

This isn’t the first time the company has lended a helping hand. It extended the same deal for those affected by Hurricane Harvey.
