A woman who was shot and killed early Tuesday at an apartment complex near Austell has been identified.
Cobb County police said the victim is Kendra Weathers, 24, of Austell.
Police continue to investigate what they called an apparent homicide.
Officers had responded around 2 a.m. to multiple 911 calls advising them of gun shots at the Lake Crossing Apartments on Six Flags Drive, police said. They found Weathers lying in the breezeway of a building.
She was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
