A woman needed to be extricated Tuesday morning from a 1930s-era home in Atlanta’s Candler Park neighborhood after a tree fell on it, Atlanta fire officials said.

Firefighters were sent to the house in the 1300 block of McLendon Avenue just after 7:15 a.m., Atlanta Fire Rescue spokeswoman Alyssa Richardson said. The large home, which property records show had been subdivided into multiple apartments, was occupied by three people. Two were able to leave the house without assistance, but one woman found herself trapped inside.

Crews were able to remove the woman from the house in less than 30 minutes, Richardson told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. No injuries were confirmed.

Photos from the scene show the splintered wreckage of the collapsed portion of the house. Officials did not speculate on what caused the tree to fall, but the area had received about 3 inches of steady, soaking rain since Friday.
