Woman fatally shot in northwest Atlanta

April 30, 2015A woman died Wednesday night after she was shot in northwest Atlanta, police said.
The incident happened around 9 p.m. in the 1100 block of Joseph E. Boone Boulevard.
The woman was shot in stomach and was in critical condition, Sgt. Gregory Lyon with Atlanta police said. She later died, he said.
No other information was immediately available.
