When it comes to gift wrapping, it really is what's on the outside that counts.
Though the drone, diamond tennis bracelet or Xbox inside the box is where gift givers invest their dollars, the wrapping surrounding it is where they show their heart, said Mia Canada, owner of That's A Wrap!, an Atlanta gift wrapping boutique.
" A lot of cultures believe that gift wrapping is the most important part of the gift," Canada told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "It not only shows how you feel about the act of gift giving but actually how you feel about the recipient themselves."
Canada says the secret to gift wrapping is creating "demand" and anticipation from your respective gift recipient.
Since opening in 2006, That's A Wrap! has helped make gift wrapping easy for Atlantans giving gifts for weddings, baby showers and, of course, Christmas, Canada said.
