While the Braves are away, the fans are invited to come play — or at least cheer on the team from Truist Park.

On Tuesday, the Braves will face the Houston Astros in Game 6 of the World Series. And with the team ahead 3-2 in the best-of-7 series, Atlanta fans are hoping the team wins it all without needing a Game 7. The Braves plan to open the stadium at 6:30 p.m. for a watch party.

“You’ve packed The Battery all postseason — now it’s time to pack Truist Park!” the team posted online. “Come and sit in a reserved seat or on the outfield grass and cheer on the Braves! Concessions will be open throughout Truist Park.”

Ticket prices start at $10 and can be purchased online through Ticketmaster. All seating is open and will be first come, first served, the team said. The first pitch at Minute Maid Park is scheduled for 8:09 p.m.

Parking will be available for purchase on-site in the Battery Atlanta’s Red, Green, Purple, Yellow and Silver decks.

Fans packed The Battery when the first two games of the Series were played in Houston. When the series arrived at Truist Park for three games, Braves fans packed the stadium and The Battery — which hit capacity over the weekend, according to police.

Since March, Georgia-based Mana Nutrition has accumulated about 300,000 boxes of therapeutic food in its warehouse near Savannah, said Mark Moore, the organization’s co-founder and CEO. Each box includes 150 food packets, enough to feed a child for six weeks. Mana’s supply is awaiting shipment to countries in sub-Saharan Africa. “No one is being served by it sitting here,” Moore said. “It is just the sort of sadness of: Why would we not have it out there?” (Matt Odom for Mana Nutrition)
