A crash between two tractor-trailers and a car Tuesday shut down I-75 South in Bartow County for nearly five hours and sent two people to the hospital, the Georgia State Patrol said.
After closing before 4 a.m., all lanes reopened just before 9 a.m., according to the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center. Traffic was still moving slowly.
One of the trucks involved in the accident at East Main Street was a FedEx truck loaded with about 30,000 pounds of general freight, the Traffic Center reported.
One driver was flown to the hospital, the GSP said. The other was taken by ambulance. Their conditions were not known.
