Traffic is moving again on the Southside Perimeter after an earlier crash with injuries, but delays remain.

The wreck occurred shortly before 11 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-285 near the Washington Road exit, the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center reported.

It appeared to involve a Chevrolet Corvette, but no details about the crash have been released.

Crews worked to clear the wreckage and the inner loop reopened about 11:40 a.m., according to the Traffic Center.

Some delays remain, so drivers hoping to avoid the backups are encouraged to stay on I-85 or use U.S. 29 as an alternate route.
