Previously ruptured gas and water lines have been repaired after shutting down Peachtree Street between Wall Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Atlanta police said.

The lines broke early Friday afternoon, police said in a tweet. They were repaired and the road was reopened Saturday morning, Atlanta police spokesman Jarius Daugherty told AJC.com.
