A crash shut down I-285 North in DeKalb County early Monday, led to delays north of I-20 and injured at least one person.

The interstate was closed for about 45 minutes before officials reopened it just after 6 a.m., according to the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center. However, heavy delays from the Outer Loop remained, the Traffic Center reported.

About 6:10 a.m., traffic jams stretched as far back as Bouldercrest Road, according to the Traffic Center.

Details about the crash, which involved at least one vehicle, were not released.
