The crash happened just before 6 p.m. on the Perimeter’s outer loop, according to the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center. All lanes of I-285 East were blocked and remained closed for multiple hours.

One eastbound lane was temporarily reopened around 6:30 p.m., but was closed shortly after as the truck was moved from the travel lanes.
