All she wants for Christmas is her two eyes closed.

A tired 2-year-old girl preferred a nap to Santa's lap when she visited a Houston hardware store, ABC News reported.

Allen Bartell and his wife, Leslie Roznovsky, took their two daughters to see Santa at Bering’s Hardware store. The grandmother of Laurel, 1, and Linden, 2, buys them each an ornament every year, ABC News reported.

After a full day of Christmas shopping, they visited the jolly elf. When Santa asked Linden what she would like for Christmas, she said “I want to take a nap,” before snuggling in comfortably beside him.

“The response has been overwhelmingly positive,” Bartell told ABC News, “and as a family we are honored to share a little Christmas joy with millions of people.”
