1. Delta cancels more flights; says recovery near.  Delta Air Lines canceled more than 300 more flights Wednesday as it continued to dig out from a crippling computer outage at the start of the week. [Read more]

Arizona politician tells Diamondbacks: "Go back to ...West Virginia.'   Two weeks after Cobb County Commission Chairman Tim Lee lost a re-election bid over his handling of the Braves stadium deal, an Arizona politician's tough tact in dealing with the Diamondbacks demand for $187 million in upgrades to Chase Field came to light this week. [Read more]

3. Deputies: 40 arrested in child-sex sting in east Georgia.  Effingham County sheriff's officials tell news outlets in a statement that 40 people, ranging in age from 17 to 57, were arrested this summer for trying to have sex with children. [Read more]

4. PGA Tour Championship to remain in East Lake.  The East Lake Golf Club, the permanent site of the Tour Championship since 2004, has received an extension to host the tournament through 2020.  [Read more]
