The innovative corporate hub was designed by Gensler, the world's largest architecture firm, and is in Cartersville, a town with a population of 20,978 that's about 40 miles north of Atlanta.

The office space is home to Patcraft and Shaw Contract, two subsidiaries of the commercial flooring company Shaw Industries. To develop the three-story, 67,000-square-foot building, the company used Gensler’s Workplace Performance Index, an online survey developed by architects to analyze how people work in a specific company.

The building houses the company’s creative, marketing and innovation teams in a single collaborative space as opposed to dividing employees by department, which is often he practice.

The decision to build the office in Cartersville is tied to Shaw’s longstanding legacy in North Georgia. Shaw Industries has been manufacturing carpet in the city since 1967 and is the largest employer in Bartow County.
