McDonough police have released photos of a man suspected of sexually assaulting a woman living in a senior apartment community.

Surveillance video shows a man going door to door Friday at the Heritage at McDonough complex on Bridges Road, apparently checking to see if any were unlocked, the department said in a social media post. When he found an unlocked door, he entered one of the apartments and sexually assaulted the woman living there, police said.

After the assault, “the suspect casually walked out of the apartment,” McDonough police posted. He was dressed in all black and wearing a black, fanny pack-style Nike bag.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the McDonough Police Department or call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477.
