State Rep. Karla Drenner on Monday will host a memorial concert at the state Capitol to honor victims of the Orlando shooting.

Drenner, an Avondale Estates Democrat, said the noon event will feature performances by the Atlanta Women’s Chorus and the Atlanta Gay Men’s Chorus. Drenner is one of three openly gay members of the Georgia General Assembly.

The concert is open to the public. It is the latest in a series of public vigils and memorials since 50 people were killed at a gay night club in Orlando this past weekend.
