At Fulton County’s Esther Jackson Elementary, it’s never too early to start talking about academic opportunities beyond high school. Recently, staff at the Roswell school dressed out in college gear and their alma mater’s colors. They were helping promote Fulton County’s initiative to prepare students for the future and to encourage them to plan to extend their education to college or university. Students heard from teachers about their academic experience and how they selected a college and career. Teachers and students also discussed the benefits, challenges and rewards of continued education and talked about their dreams for the future.
