The Georgia Department of Labor is hosting a job fair at the Griffin Career Center Friday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. to help the paint manufacturing company hire 15 workers for its plant in Morrow, according to a GDOL press release. The company is looking for workers to fill positions as industrial maintenance technicians, maintenance electricians and production operators. Salaries range from at least $10 an hour for production operators to at least $19 an hour for the maintenance electricians and technicians.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old in order to be in line with U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations. Applicants should also have a high school diploma or General Education Diploma and at least one year of experience in their field.
The company will conduct a drug-screening test and a background check on selected applicants.
