Reser’s Fine Foods recalls refrigerated salads

April 12, 2016
BEAVERTON, Ore. — Reser’s Fine Foods is recalling some if its popular refrigerated salads due to possible listeria contamination.
Onions used in the recipes of some Reser’s potato, macaroni and tuna salads could contain onions that may have the bacteria in them.
The recall affects nearly 30 states, including Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Ohio, Washington and Texas.
The salads came in plastic containers with specific use by dates and #10 at the end of the printed text. The containers were distributed between March 22 and April 10.
The salads were sold at Walmart and Safeway under the store-specific brands and other retailers under the Reser’s label.
