Reminder: Woodstock parade route changed

Woodstock city officials are reminding residents that Saturday’s Christmas Jubilee and Parade of Lights will travel a different route this year.

In past years, the parade started in the parking lot of the old Wal-Mart store near Ga. 92 and Main Street. This year, due to construction at the site, the procession will both start and end at Woodstock Elementary School north of downtown, traveling Rope Mill, Main, Towne Lake Parkway, Mill, Market and Fowler streets, before turning back onto Main and Rope Mill.
