K-Pop stars BTS will appear on Carpool Karaoke

The eager fans of Korean pop boy band BTS got some exciting news via Twitter on Monday. The band will appear on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” next week.

The band, which formed in 2013, will join Corden on his Feb. 25 episode, according to a post from the show Monday morning. The “Mic Drop” singers will join Corden during his infamous Carpool Karaoke segment. The promo photo shows Corden in a car with some of the members of the seven-person crew, including Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook.

The sing-along segment of the popular late-night show has featured a variety of musical artists singing to some of their greatest hits including Cardi B, Mariah Carey and Meghan Trainor.

BTS will appear on the show a few days after their new release "Map of the Soul: 7" is released Friday, Feb. 21. The group will give a live interview on "TODAY" the same day.

Fans of the pop group could not contain their excitement about the upcoming episode.
