Police: Shots fired at Gwinnett officer in patrol car
Gwinnett police are looking for the two occupants of a black vehicle who allegedly shot at an officer in a patrol car Sunday night.
According to a news release, the officer saw the vehicle speeding down South Norcross Tucker Road, near the intersection of Jimmy Carter Boulevard. As the officer attempted a traffic stop, one of the occupants of the vehicle fired several shots at the officer as the car sped away, police said. The officer nor the patrol car was hit.
The driver did not stop and the officer lost sight of the vehicle on Graves Road. No full description of the vehicle was available.
