Police make arrests in Henry Co. recreation center vandalism
Two people accused of spray-painting graffiti on a Henry County recreation center have been arrested, police said Friday.
Dashiell Taft Moulder, 20, of Stockbridge, and Ian Ashton Schneeman, 19, of Jonesboro, were arrested Thursday night on charges of burglary and felony criminal damage to property, Henry police Lt. Joey Smith said in an emailed statement.
The duo allegedly spray-painted graffiti on a storage pod, a county truck as well as the front and back doors of the J.P. Moseley Recreation Center in Stockbridge. Moulder and Schneeman, police said, also broke out windows on the truck and a basketball court.
Police were led to them after the department released surveillance camera images of the suspects this week. Their arrests came on the same day Atlanta police announced the arrests of two high-profile graffiti taggers.
Moulder and Schneeman are in the Henry County jail, each in lieu of $2,100 bond.
