Police arrested a Florida woman who was naked and behind the wheel of a Mercedes-Benz, TCPalm reported.
Cecilia Faure, 52, of Vero Beach, was charged with resisting arrest without violence and was accused of trying to spit on a corporal, the website reported. At the Indian River County Jail, Faure took field sobriety exercises and was arrested on a DUI charge, TCPalm reported.
On Jan. 3 at 12:23 a.m., an Indian River County deputy heard screams from a Vero Beach residence. Upon investigating, the deputy said he heard a vehicle starting up. A garage door opened and the deputy saw lights activated on a white Mercedes, the website reported.
According to the deputy, a "completely naked female" was in the driver's seat, TCPalm reported, citing the arrest affidavit. According to the arrest affidavit, the woman was identified as Faure and a bottle of alcohol was located near the driver's side door, the website reported.
It is not clear whether Faure was wearing a seat belt, TCPalm reported.
