Members of the Cherokee and Muskogee nations lead a Medicine Wheel Ceremony for rain on Stone Mountain.

Members of the Cherokee and Muskogee nations participated in the rain dance.

The ceremony is at the center of a "wheel" of eight simultaneous ceremonies that will be staged in Columbus, Hawkinsville and Louisville, Ga.

Annamaria Silverthorn, 2,of Atlanta, was among the youngest to participate. Her father is also performing in a similar ceremony in Louisville, Ga. At left is her mother Michelle.
