In this aerial image, numerous damaged trees have been removed from land co-owned by Lana and Jake Hilderbrand in Jeff Davis County. Six months after Hurricane Helene affected approximately 60% of their property, efforts have been made to salvage and sell some of the fallen trees as part of the recovery process following the disaster.
