Many metro parents are surprised how crowded their children’s classes have become over the last few years due to budget cuts. Does technology offer a way out of packed classrooms? I ask that question today in my column. A think tank offers a spirited defense of the Common Core State Standards, advising Georgians to resist what it deems a loud minority urging repeal without suggesting an alternative.
