Today’s moderator: Tom Sabulis

A 20-year veteran of the AJC, Tom Sabulis has covered news, politics and the arts during a career that has taken him to newspapers across the country. Since 2008, he has coordinated many of the newspaper’s pro/con debates and first-person guest columns.

Although it has been questioned by some as a potential transportation conduit, the Atlanta Beltline is undoubtedly a success in regard to Atlanta's quality of life. Today, a well-known chef and restaurant owner writes  about how the rail-to-trail project has affected his business. In our second column, a federal administrator lists the many features  that earned the Beltline a recent smart growth award.
