The Georgia House of Representatives has passed legislation that, technically, leaves the current ban on weapons on college campuses intact but makes it tough to enforce. House Bill 875 also legally introduces firearms into churches, mosques and temples. School districts could also empower civilian personnel to use firearms in k-12 schools. Today, a Fulton County leader opposes the bill,  and a college student supports it.
