David Ibata is an Opinion editor with the AJC. He also was a co-founder and chapter president of the Chicago chapter of the Asian American Journalists Association.

The head of an Atlanta-area legal advocacy center says Republicans and Democrats need to engage recently naturalized immigrant voters to expand their political base.
