VEASEY, Harris Jackson "Jack"
Harris Jackson "Jack" Veasey, age 90, of Stockbridge, Georgia, beloved husband for over 68 years to Jeane A. Veasey, passed away Friday, June 4, 2021.
Loving father of Kim Veasey, Glenn Veasey (Sondra), Beth Roseberry (Bryan). He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Brett Veasey (Bethany), Blake McClendon (Christine), Brandon Veasey (Shauna), Clay McClendon (Mary), Corey Roseberry (Ashley), his great-grandchildren, Ariston Veasey, Addison McClendon, Logan McClendon, Hudson Veasey, Jack Veasey, Madelyn McClendon, Harris Veasey, Kinley McClendon, Mikael Phillips, Wesley Roseberry, and a host of nieces, nephews, loving family and friends.
Jack was a faithful Christian and was a member of Mt. Carmel Christian Church for over 50 years.
As the loving patriarch of our family, he wore many hats. He retired from the United States Postal Service after 35 years. During that time, he was known to the local community as the "The Donut Man." Jack was an avid Braves fan, enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, golfing, and spending quality time with his family.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 from 11 AM until 1 PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia, where the funeral service will be held in our chapel at 1 PM Graveside service to immediately follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
