URZENDOWSKI, Virginia Ann

Virginia Ann Urzendowski, age 78, passed away on January 8, 2021 from the Covid-19 virus. Known to all as Virgie, she was born on July 24, 1942 in Omaha, Nebraska to Louis Schab and Mary Anderson Schab. She was married to her husband, Ben Urzendowski, for fifty-five years.

Virgie was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She took great pride in her family's achievements, and she was so happy to know and share them with others. In addition to her own children and grandchildren, she adored the young children in her neighborhood who brought her much joy in her later years. Her circle of friends was large, and she particularly enjoyed her tight-knit group of girlfriends from her high school years in Omaha. She also enjoyed the closeness she shared with her sister and always looked forward to their times together. She loved her church community of St. Ann where she practiced her strong Catholic faith in fellowship with many dear friends over the past thirty-five years.

Virgie is survived by her husband, Ben; sister, Betty Paskach; brother, Bob Schab; daughter and her husband, Denise and John Scofield; son, Dan Urzendowski; and beloved grandchildren, Ellen Scofield, Mary Caroline Scofield, Jack Scofield, and Caitlin Urzendowski.
