Khaleeq Seabrook passed away suddenly September 22, 2021. He was a joyful, honorable man with a deep love for his family. A viewing will be held noon-8 PM, Friday at Gregory B. Levett and Sons Funeral Home, 914 Scenic Highway, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30045. A celebration of life service will be held 11 AM, Saturday at The Faith Center of Atlanta, 4600 N Royal Atlanta Drive, Tucker, Georgia 30084. A viewing will take place before the service from 10-11 AM.
Khaleeq was born December 3, 1977 in Buffalo, New York and attended Buffalo Traditional School before graduating from Williamsville North High School. He and his wife Michelle met and fell in love in 1998 and married in 2001. They moved their family to metro Atlanta, Georgia in 2006.
Khaleeq worked in the debt collections industry at Diverse Competitive Solutions. He worked in the industry for more than 20 years starting as a collector and moving up to operations manager for two offices.
Khaleeq was a chef grill master and had a passion for sports, coaching youth football and mentoring children. He impacted many lives, instilling confidence in youth, teaching them to look people in the eye and to shake hands when meeting someone for the first time. He was a role model who genuinely cared about people.
Khaleeq was devoted to his family and lived by the motto "Family First." He trained his sons in athletics and coached his younger son in football from age 6 to 14. Family time regularly included gatherings with his mother, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who were "family" in spirit.
He grew up Muslim and as an adult attended church services with his family in the Atlanta area.
Khaleeq will be remembered as the protector, beloved father and best friend, big brother to both his older and younger sisters, the best gift-giver, happy, nurturing and respected.
Khaleeq was preceded in death by his father Karl Vincent
'Umar' Seabrook and grandparents Dorothy Kelly and James Seabrook. Beautiful memories of his life will be cherished by his loving wife of 20 years Michelle Seabrook; devoted children Nazhee Rivera, Khiree Seabrook and A'Mya Seabrook; mother Janis 'Rahseeda' Seabrook; sisters Shammara Barr (Donald), Naadia Seabrook (Darnell Sr.); grandson Dinero Rivero; in-law parents Willie and Berlinda Robinson; brothers-in-law Michael Robinson (Joy) and Kane Ali (Monick'a); aunts and uncles Mary Bethe Waller and Allen Waller , Laurie Gilbert, Leo 'Musa' Hunter, Kenneth Seabrook, Juanita Seabrook, Brenda Seabrook; nieces and nephews Rayanaa Williams, Tya Mills-Platt, Hunter Williams-Seabrook, Darnell Parson, Isaiah Parson, Jordan Terry, Zachary Lyons, Mason Robinson and a host of cousins and friends.
