Mother Earth must have been eavesdropping.
Just as zoologist Mark Carwardine was coming up empty on whale spotting, telling his BBC audience how difficult it can be, even in “one of the world’s great hot spots,” a biggun’ appears.
“Oh look, there is one … actually that was a lot easier than I was expecting,” Carwardine said of the blue whale. “There’s a whale right there.”
Yet more evidence that it’s better to be lucky than good.
