A little girl honored her late mother by donning her wedding dress for a heartwarming photo shoot.
Little Nora Davis, 4, lost her mother, Amber, to cancer in 2015. To mark the 1 year anniversary of her death, Nora posed in her mom’s wedding dress for photos.
The photos were captured by Heidi Spillane, who owns My Three Arrows photography. Amber was a close friend, and when she was diagnosed with cancer, they came up with the idea together, according to ABC News.
“Photographing this session without you was never in the plan, but we felt you there, smiling and so proud of your sweet girl,” wrote Spillane on Facebook.
Nora learned a lot about her late mother during the photo shoot.
“I thought it was going to be emotional, but it was just a happy time,” said Amber’s sister, Adrianne Blackwelder. “We talked about Amber … the day of their wedding.”
