A Pennsylvania boy was rushed to a hospital Wednesday after he had a heart attack while outside playing in the snow, police said.

The boy was playing in a backyard in Warrington when he was found lying face down in the snow, the Intelligencer reported. Emergency responders brought him inside the home and began CPR before taking him to Doylestown Hospital, where it was determined that he had a heart attack.

He was transferred to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, where he remained on Thursday, according to Lancaster Online. His condition was not available.

Warrington police said the boy, dressed in a snowsuit, scarf and hat, was playing in a fenced-in yard. Investigators are trying to determine what happened to cause the boy’s medical emergency.
