The Columbus Dispatch reported that Hanna was in another room with her 2-year-old son for five minutes when she found her daughter tangled in the cord.

Hanna called 911, saying her daughter was not breathing. She administered CPR until members of the Fire Department and police arrived.

Police found the girl on the living room floor with her arms stretched to her sides and her legs extended, according to WTTE.

A police report said "no hazardous conditions or indications of neglect" were observed.

She was in Nationwide Children’s Hospital for four days after the accident and later died.

"My niece had to tell Roselynn's older bother and sister, Gavin and Brooklyn, that their sister was going to heaven,"  Roselynn's uncle, Jeff Carrabine, said. "Brooklyn's 6th birthday (was April 15). One hell of a birthday present."

Roselynn's funeral is Wednesday. Carrabine set up a GoFundMe page to help with funeral costs. It has surpassed its $20,000 goal.
