A 5-year-old Batman fan became a real-life superhero last week when he rescued a baby trapped inside a hot car in Uckfield, England.
According to Uckfield FM, Caroline Penny had just placed her 1-year-old granddaughter, Iris, in a car seat when she walked to the other side of the Volkswagen to get in. Suddenly, Penny said, the doors locked, trapping the baby – and the car keys – inside.

"We called the police, and they tried everything and eventually smashed the back window," Penny told Metro. But the officers were too large to fit through the small opening.
Luckily, pint-sized Zavi Ahmed, 5, dressed in a Batman costume, came to the rescue, volunteering to climb into the car and get the keys.
"A policeman put his jumper down on the window to protect from the glass, and Batman crawled in to fetch the keys," Penny said.
Thanks to Zavi, Iris was freed without harm.
"I always feel like a superhero, but that day was special," Zavi told Metro.
