An 18-year-old man is in custody after he confessed to stabbing his mother to death in a home near Winter Park, Orange County deputies said.
Deputies identified the victim as 65-year-old Nancy Ann Noone. After he was arrested, deputies said her son, Michael King, confessed to stabbing her to death.
Deputies said they were called shortly after 8:30 p.m. Wednesday to a home on Cornwall Road near Banchory Road and North Semoran Boulevard, not far from the Cady Way Trail in the Winter Park Pines neighborhood. Reports were of a "man down."
