4-year-old battling leukemia becomes queen of her city for a day
A 4-year-old girl who is battling leukemia was able to forget about her cancer and be a princess for a day thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
KOVR reports the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Sacramento Kings and Macy's teamed up to transform 4-year-old Alyla Stamp's life for the day.
She was crowned Sacramento’s Princess by her grandmother, who was flown in for the event. She even got to meet her very own Prince Charming.
After her coronation ceremony, the Sacramento Ballet put on a special performance for Princess Alyla.
