A college student who died in April after taking "toxic" diet pills texted her professor hours before she died stating, "I've screwed up big time … I think I'm going to die," Buzzfeed reports.

Eloise Parry, 21, from Shrewsbury, England, accidentally overdosed on diet pills she bought online that contained a toxic substance called dinitrophenol (DNP).

"No one is known to have survived after being sick taking DNP. I am so scared. I am so sorry for being so stupid," Parry wrote in the text. "Thank you for everything. I never deserved it. Please pass on my absolute appreciation for all that you have done for me. Thank you more than words."

Parry also texted that she was sick after she binged and took four "fat-burning" pills, according to an inquest held Thursday. She fell seriously ill and died at a hospital on April 12.

Parry’s mother said her daughter suffered from bulimia and had body image issues, Buzzfeed reports. Parry’s mother knew her daughter was taking diet pills “about two months before she died but did not realize they were dangerous,” Buzzfeed reports.

“I did not believe she was suicidal,” said Parry’s mother during the inquest.

The coroner said he would write to the health minister about DNP’s harmful effects, according to Buzzfeed.
