Woman tells police meth in purse is ‘healing crystals,’ investigators say

April 18, 2019A woman was arrested Saturday after telling police methamphetamine in her purse were “healing crystals,” investigators said.
Cactus Naomi Calderas, 43, was pulled over for not using a turn signal and appeared to be very nervous as police approached, KHOU reported.
Police said she consented to a search of her vehicle, KHOU reported. During a pat down, an officer found four butane lighters and a pipe used for smoking meth in Calderas' pocket. The meth was found in her purse.
Calderas was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, KHOU reported.
