Witness says police hogtied a man and placed him face down before he died

After a 30-year-old man died at a hospital after being arrested, a lawyer for his family told a reporter  the man may have died after being hogtied and placed on a stretcher face-down.

Attorney Tim Edwards said a witness came forward with video showing Troy Goode hogtied on the stretcher.

Edwards said Goode told police he couldn’t breathe, according to the witness. The witness said Goode was then taken from the scene, according to Edwards.

Goode was a chemical engineer, Edwards said. Police said Goode may have been high on LSD at the time of his arrest.

Police said they arrested him in a parking lot outside a concert venue after his wife called to say he was acting strangely.
